Fresh snow this morning
Woke up to about a inch of new snow this morning. Color me surprised!
Ok not really.
Late afternoon, after I got home from work, I went out back, where the green things grow, or try to anyway, and noticed the hop plants were starting to poke out of the ground.
All’s they need in some warm weather ( and less SNOW ) and they will grow like, well, hops.
Where I came from, and probably where you came from too, the joke about zucchini was, drop a seed in the ground and jump back!
Well, with hops ( the second year anyway ) is to plant the rhizomes in the ground and jump back 25 feet!!
Here are some pics from last September, just before the hop harvest.

I have Cascade and Northern Brewer

I should have plenty this fall if anyone is interested.
